I know I’m far from alone on this one. I am absolutely outraged and sickened by the liberal Democrats in Congress, and their willing cohorts in the drive-by media. The unmitigated gall of these people is absolutely sickening and should provide anyone with equal or greater intelligence to Jessica Simpson an absolute reason to throw these people out of office once and for all.

The event or events to which I refer are specific to the treatment of General David Petreaus, who, now that Saddam Hussein’s body double is unemployed, has the least enviable job in Iraq, if not the world. Let me state for the record, that this man is a distinguished military professional and a role model to young people everywhere. He is in service of his country and upholding everything we have held sacred for more than 230 years of our history. He is the stuff heroes and real men are made of – period.

And yet, the arrogant slobs in the United States Congress began attacking this man and his report on the status of Iraq last weekend, before he’d even set foot on Capitol Hill. Leading this trash-fest was none other than Senator Charles Schumer, who was also assisted by John Kerry-Who served in Viet Nam, Dick Durbin, Harry Reid, Diane Feinstein and a host of other Democrat mouthpieces in a pre-emptive strike, I guess that rule only applies to the big, bad mean United States attacking poor, defenseless dictators who support terrorism.

Of course, Chuck Schumer and John F. Kerry-Who served in Viet Nam went above and beyond and openly criticized the capability of the American Troops on the ground in Iraq. This is absolutely shameful and tantamount to treason. Of course for these two idiots it’s nothing new. Comments like this are more damaging than any anti-American propaganda out there because it emboldens the enemy completely. Make no mistake, Americans will die because of the reckless political ignorance and utter arrogance of these two so-called Senators who richly deserve to be criminally charged and jailed.

As if liberal arrogance wasn’t hard to take to begin with, when it is on this scale and with the consequences this will have, it becomes deadly. I realize that for liberals, the war on terror doesn’t exist in their mind and the war in Iraq has nothing to do with it, but the fact remains, we are a nation at war with an enemy that is determined to kill us. Their leadership has not and will not take their eyes off of the goal – a goal that the Democrats in Congress seem bent on them achieving.

So what is it in this report and this whole scenario that has the left all upset? Simply put, they (Congress and the drive-bys) invested in and prayed for the humiliation of America for the sole purpose of political and ideological gain. In other words, they’d sell their souls for the absolute power that they lust for and believe is their birthright. On some level, this is the common ground that they have with the terrorists. That defeat on which they invested everything in isn’t happening, quite the opposite actually is. For the media it’s a further illustration of their lack of credibility that they cannot afford with ratings and revenue at an all time low.

For the Democrats, it’s much worse. They’ve set a collision course with disaster. A few months back, Rush Limbaugh pointed out that the Democrats have invested in and secured a landslide defeat. That, my friends, is an absolute truth. The Democrats may well have succeeded in destroying themselves to a level that they will never fully recover from. It’s a time bomb for them because there is no way to spin this thing to their favor. They pushed for defeat, they backed and supported it, they trashed our troops in a brash show of unbelievable arrogance and why? Because the Democrats believe it’s their right to do so and nobody should dare to question it, or else they should be prepared to face the consequences. There is a huge problem with that. Nobody else, save for the terrorists we’re killing, views it that way.

The character of the people serving in Iraq right up to their commanding general should never be called into question, especially by people who are absolutely devoid of character and integrity, such as Senator Schumer, John Kerry-who served in Viet Nam, Harry Reid, Dick Durbin, Nancy Pelosi, Diane Feinstein and King Corruption Murtha. These people actually make the know-it-all’s in the drive-by media look decent.

It seems as though I remember back in 2004 that one of the battle cries of the left was “Regime Change Begins at Home”. They have that right, but they’re looking at the wrong end of Pennsylvania Avenue when they say that. I have to wonder, just how much of this arrogant filth are we going to allow before we, the people (words the left HATES) declare war on what I now call the “Axis of Arrogance” and throw the liberals out of Congress.

Reality for them is starting to hit home. They’re losing in ’08 on every front and they know it. However, it wasn’t because they didn’t keep the faith, it’s because they never had the faith in freedom and the preservers, protectors and defenders of it. The bottom line is this – our armed forces are holding their lives in contempt to defend the freedom we enjoy daily. We need to defend them from scum like Schumer, Kerry and Murtha by unceremoniously driving them from office forever. Our heroes deserve better. Only we can give it to them.
